Shelley Ohlgren attended the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts dgree, with Studio Arts as her major and Art History as her minor. After graduation, she became a graphic artist for a printing plate manufacturer for the corrugated industry. Shelley returned to her hometown in West Central Minnesota and took up painting again. She has sold numerous paintings and has shown her artwork at Three Havens Artworks, Point of View and LRAC Shelley works in acrylics, producing still lifes,florals and landscapes using an intense color palette. "Nature offers us beautiful vistas to paint. I try to create a strong, dynamic composition using bold, bright colors."
