Artist Vision: To examine color and light--their effects on shape and form--in a variety of media. I recreate these effects in order to give stirring movement, exciting contrast, or inviting dream-like essence to the entire piece.
My portfolio contains paintings and drawings of landscapes, seascapes, spacescapes, animals, and people--fantasy and real. My work is produced through oils, pastels, acrylics, pencils, and digital composition.
My art experience began very early as a child; in elementary school I always took a sketchbook with me to recess and also had many opportunities to learn the art of mixing colors. My secondary school education included classical studio explorations.
