Hi, I love art! The great diversity of art throughout history, in all its forms, media, style and subject matter has always held fascination to me. My natural curiosity and sense of adventure in art has encouraged me to dabble in a variety of subject, media and style...but I find myself returning to portraits again and again,like an old friend. Part of the attraction is the edgy challenge of striving for an accurate likeness. But I especially yearn to convey something of the character/ spirit of the person. It is my wish to express my empathy for the human spirit which is laden with complexity and mystery.... Looking at AW artists' works is a rich experience...to see how the pulse of creativity takes you all in a variety of directions of creative vision and personal expression is inspiring to me!
