I've drawn since I learned my alphabet. I even doodled on my upper case letters. As a young girl I was fascinated with mermaids. Disney was a major influence. Then I took all the art courses offered at school. My junior year in school, I won a scholarship for the Governor's School for the Arts at Furman University in South Carolina. My senior year, I was outstanding student in commercial art at our vocational school. Patrick Nagel was a big influence in the 80's! I pursued other interests after school but did some freelance art for friends,businesses, and clients. Still raising my family, but with kids in school fulltime I vowed to bring my art off the back-burner. Today I'm into the fantasy scene (i still love mermaids) and tattoo flash is always quick and fun to do! Always inspired by nature. Thank you for taking the time to look.
