I drew the Star of David and my students at Gindi Maimonides Academy colored them in. I made a wall calendar from the images. Hope you enjoy

Everyday the muse invites me to dance with a different medium. Today I painted using oils. The creative spirit moves through me like my breathe.

I bought some canvases today but did not have time to paint. The muses await my creation.

I painted some portraits today. Once again, I did not have an empty canvas, so I painted over something. I wonder were this creative energy comes from. Some people don't have it. They seem to exist in a world that is just happy with a simple routine of life. I don't feel complete until I create something. The question is..what do I do with all this work? It is piling up in the apartment. If there is an earthquake, it might fall on me and I will be buried under it. Oh well, there goes the imagination running away with me again.

I bought some fresh irises at the Farmer's Market today. I put them in a vase and they should open tomorrow. My plans are to take photos of them. Flowers are timeless. They remind me of the beauty that lies within us all.

I spent most of the day uploading pictures to this site. It takes a lot of organization skills. There is so much work to put on this site. It is overwhelming. I did not get a chance to paint today or do any photography. It doesn't feel right when I don't have a chance to create something new. The energy is inside, waiting to be released. Who knows what artistic piece will be born. I guess I will wait until tomorrow.

It is the day after Michael Jackson died and Farah Fawcet. I spent the day painting an abstract face. I let the painting unfold before me, while I listened to the updates on the news to Michael's passing. Life is always changing, like this painting that keep changing before my eyes.

Just a quick note: Embrace each moment never forget to be grateful for your life, family, and friends. Time is a gift. It passes so quickly, you can't touch it, just feel it pass by.
