McGowans Falls are situated in West Takone and make up a part of The Tarkine Region. A short walk through once logged rainforest littered with many species of wonderful fungi brings you to the top of this magnificent set of falls which flow from Relapse Creek. A trail leads down to the base of the falls which is quite steep and a little hard going. This shot is taken at the top, and is a small section of the falls. Australia, 29/4/201
