I have never actually heard the exact definition of a "scramble", but from what I gather, it's an almost vertical climb, where you need to use your hands. Not like rock climbing...just fancy manuevering over trees, rocks and roots straight up a mountain. That's what you have to do to get to the base of Skookum Falls. It's totally worth it!!!!
