My dad always used the expression that it was a three dog night when it was especially cold out. Meaning, that the colder it is the more dogs needed to keep one warm. But then this was a man who told me that licorice is made out of airplane tires. Anyway, it's been cold enough here to actually use some of his stupid sayings--colder than even a three dog night.... Original 4 x 4 gallery-wrapped mini painting currently listed for auction on ebay in a private collection.
