This is a digitised print from an original piece of work of mine. Sometimes it is the simple recognition of a problem that is the hardest thing to resolve. In medical terms there are diagnostics and life saving procedures to apply which can restore normality and cure the underlying problem. But sometimes even when the problem is new or old and it may have a prognosis, the trauma still lives on. As a previous sufferer from Post traumatic stress disorder ( as it was called in my day ) PTSD, the intent of this piece has a particular resonance. Sometimes there is no fixing the effect and as simple or as complicated it may be - we have to live with it and so do others.
