Earl Of Tombstone

This is my favorite photograph from my self appointed assignment of documenting all the characters in Tombstone, Arizona, when I moved ther in 1999. I entitled my series "Characters of Tombstone 2000". Earl was a gunfight reenactor at "Six Gun City" where they held 3 gunfights a day. I had my tattoo shop right there where the gunfights were and had to stop working every time they had the gunfight, because the blanks they shot (right off my front porch) would even make me jump! It was a blast living and working there! I miss it so much and may end up going back ther...who knows? I took several hundred, probably thousands of photos while living there over the next two years...and this was before digital= many frogskins on film and developing! I still have about 50 rolls of film in storage that haven't been developed yet! I know...I know...they may be damaged from heat, cold, moisture, etc. UGH! I am on my way to Arizona in 3 weeks to get my photographs and negatives. over 22 years of obsessed photograph taking. I can't wait...and I hope the desert rats saved me something!
