Mistrust is prevalent on so many levels these days, don't you think? This is an image originally done on paper twice, and which is now a 16 by 20 inch acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas. The single most notable difference between this and the previous versions is the addition of a human leg and foot. The others had bird feet only. Original Jones Art bird footing around in Austin, Texas.

very cleaver and imaginative charles, all thumbs up on this Chuck, WOW man you and Picasso should have got to gather Charles because i think you both would have together awesomely,

Artist Reply: Just so you know, Ray, sometimes I do feel like a tool with a heavy, broad blade---or maybe 'just' a tool. Thanks for thinking Pablo and I would have 'gotten along.' :)

Very clever!!! Great title!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Heloisa! I'm glad you like it. I'm working on a larger piece currently, which is taking a lot more time. Hope you are doing great! :)

I absolutely love this piece Charles! Fantastic work!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Dawson - Lynn James! Working on larger acrylic pieces takes longer and, in truth, I'm still finessing this one a bit. I got spoiled by the small paper pieces, I think. :)

Mistrust is a good title!

Artist Reply: I'm glad you like the title, Stanley! Last night I went back in and added a layer of glazing in places and worked on the beak and bird foot. I may add another glaze to the eye area as well. Hope you are doing great. :)
