I have never seen a Lacy dog and found it interesting to learn that it is the state dog of Texas. The Lacy brothers of Kentucky brought the breed to Texas back in the 1800's. They are a handsome mix believed to be part greyhound, scent hound and either coyote or wolf originally. The other color variation is blue.
