Rainbow Nashorn

The Germans, during WWII, built a tank destroyer called the Nashron, which means rhinoceros. While I did not mean to draw a creature that looked like a rhino, it sort of just happened. I liked the idea of creating something colorful and bright, when something like the Nashorn brings but death. You may see something entirely different, which is good! This was the first piece in the series of work. It is also the biggest piece which is formidable in a room. It stands out and demands you to notice, much like a tank destroyer would. That and you’d want to make sure you get out of its way. Original is 18x24 inches.

Splendid artistic detail Jessica- reminds me of a 'Mardi Gras' celebratory headgear. :)

Artist Reply: Oh I hadn't really thought of that! I'll have to check some out and see the comparison!
