Based on a quick sketch, 'Eggless Bird' uses its negative space to suggest the shape of an egg, hence the title. In process, I had toyed with the idea of having an egg sitting in the space but ultimately decided against it. The bird is 9 inches tall, 7 inches long and two inches deep. It's still, I think, some of that Original Jones Art originating in Austin, Texas. I really do.

Is it a bird or is it a musical note (reminds me of a musical Half Note symbol). Very Nice!

Artist Reply: I can see why you'd say that, John, but, no, it's a bird. The negative space is supposed to suggest an egg's shape and that suggested the title. Hope you are doing great. :)

It looks a bit fragile, but I like the colors.

Artist Reply: It's actually pretty tough, Stan. It could easily take a drop though I doubt it would survive a good hard rain. Got another I hope to finish soon.
