View of a Fishing Town

This is a view from the third floor of the New Bedford Whaling Museum in Massachusetts. On the balcony, there is an artwork depicting a school of fish swimming downstream. Just over the balcony is the Town of New Bedford, known for a long history of seafaring, to provide whale oil for lamps, back in the day. New Bedford also is featured in Herman Melville's classic, "Moby Dick".

Interesting history for this terrific art.

Artist Reply: Thanks Brenda! NBWM is an interesting place to visit. Plus, I really liked this visual from the balcony.
