this expresses deep devastation His hands in fist, faced down in losing his grace. Broken wings not losing them upon bricks The bricks will crumble with time...and perhaps his redemption will be complete upon that time.
Thom, are you feeling alright now? Are you okay? I saw some of your comments. This is a good image, but, are you slanted somehow? Take care of yourself.
Wow, how thought provoking! Great artwork, the angel, the surrounding darkness, the loose feathers floating downwards, the shaft of light perhaps portends there might still be a chance of redemption, healing & rebirth... Powerful piece, Thom!
Wonderful work, Thom. I'm a little confused as to your technique. Do you paint the images in traditional ways, then composit them? this figure is very well done.
Dark and moody and the foreground figure is really beautiful and full of pathos.

What happens when an angel falls from grace??? Can he choose to be reborn forgiven, to turn around, get back up, ask the high court for another chance??? I would like to think all evil is redeemable n all wrong can be redeemed by the Power of Love if the spirit was willing enough to look up n want to truly change!!! I love your images n work!!! the depth is as wide as the eternal!!!
Your colors are changing too, Thom.. I like your new directions... The question I have is does the angel know when he/she is falling or when do they know they finished falling..must be something inside that tells them that they are no longer flying nor standing?? Sometimes everything feels like they are falling apart... so is it the world around them that is falling or themselves falling.....Your artwork gets my mind going..:-) Blue
Wonderful work,Thom...and excellent question...to my opinion,he only breaks his wing, and it can be fixed.your works remindes me of a work,i made many years ago...with totally different meaning.
