I seem to be having trouble with AW today. Anyway... this is a very nice painting. Almost surreal looking at the poppies waving in the sky. Kind of like reaching the end of a flat earth and looking out beyond the abyss. Pretty cool.José Ramalhão Fortunato 20 Aug 2020

RED LADIES ,majestic & Magnificent ,how appropriate .Beautiful deep red in colour,these I believe they appear to be the Orientals,there are about a dozen different varieties,they are so so delicate,the petals get torn apart in the gusty winds,ripped,shriveled up .Some of these are actually poisonous but not the brown seed,In some countries they cultivate these beauties for opium,Heroine,by slitting the seed while still green,also used as a sedative,by extraction,We remember these on Remembrance Day. I mostly remember my mother making Poppy pastery ,by boiling the seed,I do enjoy that Sweet delicious pastery with my Hibiscus flower tea,with rose buds,&raspberry flavour ,wow wow how relaxing &Calming after a day with my Bee Hives,Ginger this is so wonderfully done,absolutely Beautiful ,I can actually feel a small breeze going thru.
