I think we are a lot of things, each of us, all rolled into one. We are the people we've met, loved (or add another verb or verbs) as well as those embedded in our DNA. So how come some us are so selfish as though self were all that mattered? This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil. It's another, yet another, example of that Original Jones Art as it bubbles up in northwest Austin, Texas.

haven't seen your torso-less compositions in so long (had eye surgery) ...glad you are still in the fray...

Artist Reply: And the beat goes on, Elton. In this case, the heartbeat. Hope you came out better than you went in with the eye surgery.

confusion?...

Artist Reply: Well, it's a confusing, disheartening and tragic time, Maria, but I don't think this piece is about confusion. But it may be confusing to some. I thought it was rather simple and direct but I've overshot pieces before. Hope you and family are well and not as confused as I am about folks' noncommittal attitude during a time when a line needs desperately to be drawn. :)
