No!!! that's not the heart,but the ovary which has now developed into a pod,soon full of Poppy seed,the petals gradually drop ,fade away,in early when still green by slicing the Seed,the liquid what they call Opium comes out,,eventually ripening when it turns Brown.,sometimes they will even burst open.,,,,this Beauty left her heart in San Fransisco.
