Play Me Some Blues

Do you like the blues? Or maybe blue is your color? Either way, this image is for those who like a little action. Perfect card or gift for a budding guitarist. Black and white photo with selective color and textures. I think this is pretty cool: My son (16 at the time) walks into Boston Guitar Center and asks if he could try a 12 string guitar since he never tried one before. The clerk Rob asks if he's buying or trying. My son tells him that he just wants to try it. Rob retreives the most expensive guitar in the store, a beautiful Taylor 12 string guitar made from a special Hawaiian tree, hands it to my son and says: "Try this one! It's probably the best 12 string guitar you'll ever play. It's the best guitar I've ever tried myself! My son tried it with sparkling eyes, The handcraft and the sound.............wow! Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately it had a price tag far beyond our budget, but we'll never forget the first time Kim Jonas played a 12 string guitar! The guitar on the photo has a different story: On an earlier family trip to New York, for some reason Kim Jonas found the address of New York Guitar Center. (I wonder why, LOL.) He had an electric guitar, a banjo, a children's guitar, a ukulele and an old handed down acoustic guitar from his grandfather, but now he was looking for a semi-acoustic guitar. I just think he missed having something to play on while he was on vacation. Anyway, there was a sale going on in the store so he sat down and tried different guitars within his price range. He had saved up some money for the trip, and I knew that the moment he tried this blue Ibanez that this was the one he would spend most of his money on. At least I hoped so, because the sound of this guitar was really unique. (Photographer mom liked the color too!) The price was fair so now the guitar lives in Norway. I mentioned to the clerk that my son was in heaven when he entered the store upon which he replied: "Aren't we all?" I just love people who love their work!
