Most of us think of the mythical being when we see an image like this, the Greek mythology character Cyclopes. But, sadly, it is also a birth defect. I use it, when I do, to intensify the gaze. This is a 7 by 5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing and another 'back to color' example of Original Jones Art as it manifests itself in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: And your comment, in turn, reminds me of a girl on a stage in 6th grade, probably fall of 1963. It was something we had maybe that once, a talent show. Her name was Glenna Riddle and her family moved out of the area by the next school year. I liked her a lot and she froze on stage as that song started. I think they started the 45 again for her but she ran off the stage crying. I felt really bad for her. And me? I was too chicken to even get THAT far. ;)
