As a young boy, Andrés Perez Jurado traveled extensively with his father. This allowed Andrés to see the world and experience culture that, to this day, has left him with memories that still inspire his art. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, he draws his inspiration from his native country as well as Italy, Spain, Aruba, and other parts of the world where he has lived and visited. Andrés is a self-taught artist specializing in Naïf art. His vibrant paintings are full of color, detail, and imagination, drawing from Venezuela and Aruba's warm and bright cultures. He began exhibiting his works years ago and had several exhibits in Europe, the United States, Venezuela, and Aruba. He sold out his first exhibit in Caracas. Andrés continues to paint for family and friends. His paintings have been sold through word of mouth to individual collectors located in Spain, Italy, Portugal, the United States, Aruba, and, of course, Venezuela.
