This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. It's based on a small sticky sketch from a week or so back. In some ways I like the smaller drawing better; it's looser and bit more abstracted. That being said, there's something to be said for that dark sky pushing the figure forward. So Original Jones Art is studying contrasts here in northwest Austin, Texas where the FedEx boys can't read house numbers five inches tall and the dogs are incessantly barking.

Sounds as if you are in the "Christmas of things" with the constant dog barking and FedEx doing their thing, misreading house numbers. Ah! the Christmas rush is just beginning! Like you, I think I like the smaller version a bit better but this one is great also. Certainly stands out with the dark background.

Artist Reply: I'm just now uploading the small sketch to my project images area, Ginger. It's a quick sketch by anyone's calculation but maybe you can see what I mean. Yes, it's usually one house off but this time, half a block. The ineptitude is astounding! And just try to call Fedex to report it. :)
