Another quiet warmish January day to rest my tongue and exercise my mind. I've been studying the items up for auction at a certain site which are all under one classification: ART. It is a study in 'art' going back around 100 years, really. You'd be surprised what turns up. Photos from the Civil War era. Landscape oils from around that time to present. Lots of clown paintings. I never knew there were so many. Almost anything in the 3D line that's half-way well done gets gobbled up. Any nude that's even remotely well executed from classical to abstract. Ditto. Anyway, this research could have inspired this piece to some degree. This is a 9 by 6 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil on medium bond acid-free paper. It's what Original Jones Art drew without any preliminary quick sketch this evening just to keep himself entertained and occupied here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Very inspirational, enlightening, and the reason I started my improve group,…”The Revised Standard Vision Players!” Lol

Artist Reply: Well, the little guy in the chin area is grimacing the least little bit, Mark. It's never easy to tear one's self down to key elements and then go about the process of reconstruction. But I'll wager many of us have had to that to some degree every time life has put up a wall to the person we were and only opened a door when we'd altered ourselves a bit. This is something that can't be done in group sessions. Unless you like watered down versions of your previous self. :) Hope all is going good for you, Mark.
