Maybe my work is prescient in a way. There is the ever present cloud hanging white in the sky with no promise of rain. Is the whole world drying up? From my meager viewpoint, it seems that way. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. If the character looks a bit spazzed, blame on his inability to fully comprehend. Humans very seldom see what's coming due to their innate shortsightedness. Original Jones Art sees all knows all in northwest Austin, Texas. But does it really matter?

You live Texas you sound be use to dry climate this time year ,Hell Charles i was born in Yuma and as kid temperature there were in 3 digit mark thus time of the year, may i make a suggestion pop open a coke and crack smile lol..;p enjoy the rest of the summer Charles.

Artist Reply: This is not a 'usual' year in Texas, Ray. I've lived here all my life and have seen triple-digit weather before. But we started it in May. Usually starts in July. Little or no rain. Walking on our lawns sounds like walking on cornflakes. There's been water rationing for months now. We've had several short electrical brown-outs. I HOPE we don't start having real black-outs again. Anyway, maybe I just need better drugs? ;)
