Yup, this is the badass-barbarian himself! Meticulously penciled with great care - well done! But; he looks a tad miffed...maybe because Big Red has tried to done him in and escaped with all the gold/baubles/worthies again?!

David Holcombe 30 Dec 2005

The graphic quality of this portrait is interesting. The wood, the hair, and the flesh are all treated in distinct ways, something which helps strengthen the composition. This is not someone I recognize, but it must mean something to you in order to spend your talents on him. What is important for you may become important for the viewer, at least you hope so.

Nelly van Nieuwenhuijzen 10 Nov 2005

THIS IS GREAT TIM!!! BEAUTIFULL CREATION!!!

Trish Ellis 02 Nov 2005

Oh I LOVE this big bad brute! Conan is a classic and you did him justice. However, don't be afraid to use darker values in your shading. They'll really make a difference. Awesome job!!

Luna Duende 29 Oct 2005

Oehh! This one is cool! Makes me think of those cool Celtic guys, but more of the people who were living in the Netherlands before the Middle Ages. The arrows seem too small for him, but the axe makes it all right. :p Very nice! The coints on the table too give it a 'pub-style'.

Mayme Crouse 01 Oct 2005

Getting paid for his contract killing should of put a smile on his face.......lol Great detail everything, hands, muscles, hair and woodgrain great attention to detail.

Rusty Woodward-Gladdish 29 Jul 2005

A truly powerful and dramatic drawing. Love the evil expression and the hand in the foreground, drawn to die for. The varying textures and skintones and the treatment of the hair are fantastic. He looks as though he's just completed a contract killing! Brilliant!

Emily Reed 14 Jul 2005

He is one ugly dude. Well done.

John Graham Inkson 18 May 2005

Zech! this is one of the best! Love the way U did his skin! had to stop by to see what U were up to! What next!!! LOL! U could be really dangerous...watch out with that sharp graphite! It is unfair to carry disguised weapons! Have a good weekend n behave yourself with that eraser too! Meant to say thank U for all the support, it means more than U realize. CB
