A bee is deep inside the tubular flower of the Physostegia virginiana looking for any left over nectar the flower may have. If you want an easy to maintain garden bed, with tall growing flowers returning year after year to feed the pollinators, this is a flower that I recommend. These grew under a butterfly bush and could have covered the entire flower bed in time. This is a set of three photographs. Numbers P0380, P0386, P0393 can be hung together as triptych.
