Iowa Early Days (pic 1) complete mural

This is a very large Mural that I was commissioned to paint in 1998.This building is apprx. 50'x70' This was done on a concrete building that I and friends actually resurfaced the wall so I could paint My interpretation of Iowa Early Days. This mural was an 8 week project for me,and unfortuntately at the time I did not have the greatest of cameras when these pics where taken. So I will submitt close up shots of this huge mural today listed as Iowa Early Days photos 1-6 Just wanted to share my /art/Energy and me. In addition this mural was not only painted w/ brushes it was painted w/ brooms sponges ect.The mural was painted w/scaffoling as you can see but all the high part was done w/ a cherry picker machine ! What A challenge!I got educated fast on how to use this machinery .What ever it took!!I truely love this mural and I hope you do too.
