Taliesen

Frank Lloyd Wright mantained a home and studio near Phoenix, Arizona, known as Taliesen West. There are several buildings on the grounds. One of them is a little theater that has such a narrow stage that Wright designed a hole in the wall to hold the back end of the grand piano. Because of the angles in the hole, the sound is reflected beautifully out into the audience. I have played on the Knabe that lives in that hole. Wright was a very clever man. These lights are on the ceiling in this theater. Much of his work is heavily influenced by the art nouveau style of his time. © Pat Goltz. Thank you for the comments! I appreciate them.

I've been fixated on light photos like this lately. This is very neat shot!
