Dreamy Summer Sunset

This is a dreamy Summer sunset that I digitally painted. I used my Wacom tablet and a wireless stylus, instead of computer mouse to paint each stroke. This is not a manipulated photo. I start with a blank canvas and paint using software programs, chosing colors, mediums, brush sizes, etc. as if I had a real brush in my hand. Virtual painting it can be described as sort of. I used airbrush, pastels, watercolors, and blender brushes and stylus selections to create this work. I used Corel's Painter IX.5 software for this work. While it's not as realistic as I can paint, it's not meant to be. I wanted a different style and feel with this one, more loose and soft. I hope you like it. May you have real Summer sunsets to dream by, some one to share it with, and memories to recall them when in need of a smile.

Just amazing Terry, kinda remindes me (not sure why) of an icecream bar, on a hot summer day, dripping, melting running down my arm bathing me in cold stickiness...strange I know, but that's what came to mind!! Very cool image though Terry, nevermind my interpretation! :)

Artist Reply: What a wonderful response! I love the interpretation as summer memories like that should go well with a summer sky scene.
