His Glow

First and foremost. This picture (and probably several to come) I dedicate to five of my best friends. Sean Veirauch (1986-2003) Brandon Peters (1987-2004) Adam Pfeiffer (1988-2004) Casey W. Kissinger (1986-2004) and my true companion Ryan J. Burow (1987-2006) I came across this statue if you will at a cemetery I know very well and have never seen this stone before. I started to take pictures of it, when I saw fresh roses on a grave stone behind me. Now, the statue and what it was on made probably six feet. The flowers were maybe six inches off the ground. So I layed down on the grass and captured a whole lot of images. I am really surprised they turned out. Anyway, this is my favourite. Hope you all like it too.

There is so much to be praised in this...the soft light, the perspective, the composing...all elements that enhance the grace of the Savior, I like the bushes that open a path to the figure, the flowers his gift, his love, his life in the foreground. The perspective complimenting heavens power. I also like the sepia tones that merge meaning and faith into a spiritual yet earthly plane. Interesting work, a blessing in its' own right. Thank you so much for sharing it, Jennifer. I love it too. You know that!!! Have a wonderful day and I hope I see more of your art here soon. Love to you always in Truth and in Peace. Sincerely your friend CB
