"He recollected the place where Brom Bones' ghostly competitor had disappeard. "If I can but reach that bridge," thought Ichabod, " I am safe." Just then he heard the black steed panting and blowing close behind him;" (The blood-curdling laugh echoed throughout the hollow bridge just as Ichabod's heart started beating faster and faster!) With the beginning of fall and Halloween looming, I thought I'd submit my interpretation of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving. I did this a few years back using scratch board of all things! Hope you like!
