FROZEN SUNSET

This picture was shot in colour then converted to B&W using a cooling filter in Photoshop to give it that eerie barren planet look.

You must have taken this by the lake. The water splashing up onto the shore this winter have certainly given us some great material. I love how you pushed this to the opaque when you could have used warmer blues. A great effect.

Artist Reply: Thanks for your comments. This was shot right at the edge of the lake where the waves splashed along the rocks creating these magnificent ice sculptures.
