Lady with horse

This is an old painting I did when I was in high school and just beginning to try and teach myself to paint. It's a woman standing with her horse wearing a red cape. I believe it's called "horse" and was originally done by Patrick Nagel, an inspiring painter from the 80's.

Amber, Thanks for bringing a little bit of nostalgia with 80s artwork by Patrick Nagel's Commemorative 13 (horse)! He's still a very positive influence in my work to this day. For your first painting, the representation is accurate. Not sure about the scan of the piece though but her hood seems to be obscured. I love what you did applying his style to your Mila piece. Keep it up and look forward to your next piece. -Mark
