Artist Reply: Thank You, Sally!!!!! I found a dead Loon on a man made lake near My home while doing the nature thing. I'll never forget. He was'nt dead long. Sometime that Day. He was along the shoreline. Big and Beautiful. Not a mark on Him. I don't know what happened to him. I was stunned to have found such beauty even in death. So, I plucked some Feathers like I was supposed to do and made sure He had a decsent place to rest. That's how I got my loon Feathers, and that's what this painting is about. I reported the find to the MNR and the rest is History. The Native Loon story is for You to find, just like I found the loon. Seek and Ye shall Find!!!!!! My Fellow Canadian. Are We the only Two Canadians on here? Canadian Dollar is Going up, and so is the price of ART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
