Junior Puma

SLS055. 18" x 24" oil on stretched canvas © 2007 by M. L. Wilson. Unframed, edge-painted. She loves hiking down to our river rocks. She loves the sound of her own voice, and its echoes off the banks. If she could, she'd bring down a blacktail buck, but for now, a dragonfly will work.

This painting is beautiful. I remember those river rocks. I can still hear the sound of the river. This is where I grew up. It all remains so clear in my memory: the house, the woods, the trails, but most of all, the river. It lives in me. You are very talented, Marica. The detail is wonderful. Jodene Smith
