Even though I was brought up in the Protestant faith, Mary, Mother of Jesus, holds a special place in my heart and this statue is a beautiful reminder of devotion.

Excellent photograph and I just love the way you took the photograph and had the organic nature of reality within the image. It is balanced, as the block base and the Mary's head are equal distance from the top and bottom of the photograph and it seems so natural and as if it has belonged there for ions. Great image, wonderful balance and love the natural feeling. Michael
