Artist Reply: Jean, thank you ! I enjoy my work with historical landmarks. This one will have a second drawing done after it is completely restored next year.
Outstanding contrast, details, landscapeing and balance Vincent. Most excellent or superb ink artwork....
Artist Reply: Thanks again Jerry. This is another of my historical landmark drawings. The structure is one that was saved many years ago from demolition. It has since been piece by piece dismantled and will be rebuilt next year on a new foundation on private property and then opened to the public. The prints of this drawing are being sold to aid in the restoration and preservation work being done.
Incredible how you did this! Thought it was a photo Vincent!
Artist Reply: Annette, you make me blush. Thank you and I am so glad you like it. The Ball Point Pen is so well suited for this type of drawing with it's incredable half tones. I use fine and medium points to do the work. You can check out my website and go to the work in progress page and see the different stages of how I did this one.
Artist Reply: Thank you Karen. I appreciate your comments. This was a fun one to do and held my interest as well. I love anything to do with rail road history.
