Robin's nest

Xmas present 2007 for my mother in law. This one turned out the most realistic-looking. I also used Prismacolor markers for most of the nest.

Outstanding!!

Having spent a good deal of my childhood climbing trees, I saw many robin's eggs in many nests. You've managed to capture their essence beautifully. What other media did you use, if any?

Artist Reply: Thanks, Warren! Sounds like a great childhood :D I used acrylic paint for the eggs and some of the nest, and Prismacolor markers for most of the nest. I wouldn't recommend that latter part, though, if it's going outside, because even w/ the weatherproof sealer the markers faded completely away in the sunlight.

This so neat, I always thought of doing this, maybe one day.
