18 in. X 32 in., acrylic on canvas. I transfer my drawing onto the composition that I have begun by drawing it in with chalk. I paint the lines and then begin to add more details and colors. Since each step is independent of the others the final application of paint is involved with making sure that I balance everything compositionally. When it looks right I stop.
