We never did see the sun that day...the weather man was wrong, again!! Sometimes a cloud would drift by and block our view for a bit and give us a little chill. This was my husband's first hike to here and we felt lucky to be able to see the valley at all. One of the things that amazed him was seeing Skookum Falls across the way. (The small white spot in the trees) We had done that hike 2 weeks ago. Then, we were on the river looking up at this place. Haven't been able to pinpoint this exact spot from down there....
