"SpringChimesBlue" is a recent abstract painting I did using watercolors and gouache. I was actually attempting to create movement of both leaves and wind chimes blowing in the breeze. I wasn't completely sure about my choice of colors, but I decided to stick with the blue & purple hues. Thanks for viewing!!

Great color...I can see faces, figures and other hidden goodies. Are the two on the left manipulations of the original on the right? The repetition is effective.

Artist Reply: Thanks William!! Yes I wanted to create a triptych image of varying sizes and as I said, I've always liked wind chimes! ~S

This is delightful...I love the color sceme and design very much. What's weird is that it's exactly what I'm experiencing at this moment...the backporch windchimes and a couple of hanging plants are holding on in 20 mph winds just 5 ft from me sitting here at my computer. toooo weird!! 3 sets of chimes are a delightful sound!!!

Artist Reply: Ha! Thanks Mary!! I'm a big fan of wind chimes, also! They can have such a calming and subliminal effect! Enjoy the week!! '-)
