Old fashioned Farming

In this harvest time of year, a day is picket so people can see what was and is farming with horses and machinery was driven by those horses.
Around the corner where I live, there are still farmers working in this old fashioned way, even wearing the old costumes. Today there are few who do a full biological harvest this way.
Please enter in the gallery "the old fashioned harvest" part to see all pictures from horseshoe to harvest. It gives an impression which I hope is still there, when my grandson is grown up and passes this history through.

Thank you for sharing this incredible day with us, Ben!! I can remember the sounds and smells that go with these sights you have provided. Time passes, things change, not always for the better... Thanks for the reminder of simpler times!!
