In my search for wild flowers that I don't have pictures of yet, we went on the hunt for the Tiger Lily. On previous hikes, we saw just a few, but they were off trail, on steep slopes, or already spent. This was a treat on the hike from Sandflats, at Crystal Mtn. We both found these beauties close to the trail and neither of us had to risk our lives to get the shots. I remember these flowers from my childhood growing up in the woods.
