Whale-fjord .... Mountains ! Whale Fjord, with valleys and mountains around, is a typical creation of the ice age glaciers. At the start of ice age, approximately two million years, the landscape was flat lava. Gradually surf outlet glaciers since Whale-fjord and valleys around into the basaltic character.
