Have a heart

This piece is inspired when at times in my life when I felt alone, sad, and my spirit is broken. (I think this is a common feeling that is felt by more people...not just me.) We want others to show concern and ask how we are doing. We want them to Have a heart. When they don't... it makes us go deeper and deeper into the dark and some never find a way out. This is my plea to everyone to GIVE A CARE! HAVE A HEART! OPEN YOUR EYES! TALK! Or else we will be nothing but the shadow of our true selves... We will be what this picture represents: nothing but dried tears...cutting into your skin to feel something..looking to see if your heart is still there... Luckily for me I have a wonderful family and friends who love me and support me in my art. It is something that I have taken up as a blessing and I don't want to waste it. I hope this was a blessing. Love, Sheila

Cool definition of form with heavy contrast of darks & lights. Great pic!
