Another lost acrylic painting from the mid-80's. As I recall, it was something like 20 by 20 inches. If you look carefully, you can see the texture and designs I added before starting. Original Jones Art nesting comfortably in Austin, Texas..

Artist Reply: In those days I would sometimes prime my canvas with a heavy combo of plaster and gesso and then, as on this one, use the end of a brush and draw designs onto the surface. After it dried, I would lightly sand and then begin to paint. If you look carefully, you can see the designs worked into the surface, Debbie. Thanks for your comment!
