This is a reinterpretation of a photo of the American turned British poet of 'Wasteland' fame. The drawing is 9 by 12 inches and is circa 1974. This is a ball-point pen drawing on sketchpad paper that was framed for some time which is why its hues have 'warmed.' Original Jones Art from Austin, Texas.

Wekk dibe --translation ---WELL DONE..

Artist Reply: T. S. Eliot was a big influence on me in my developing years, a true thinking-man's poet. I used a regular cheap Bic pen on this. 1974 wasn't a bad year either. I'd been in Austin and going to UT for around a year. Seems like yesterday; seems like forever ago. Now I've got the headpiece filled with straw. Alas! Thanks for the nice comment, Elton. :)
