Artist Reply: This is actually a photo of a photo at the Warm Springs Museum. The original is faded, sepia, so I restored it to what I think it once might have looked like. My dad was 1/2 Cherokee Indian; I'm a 1/4. However, we were never ON a reservation EVER. Mom did NOT like INDIANS so we were told to ignore our native heritage. It is only as an adult that I've been able to learn more about my people. Thank you!
