"Horror Icon," c.2013, was created with pen/ink, on 16" x 20" canvas board and is a tribute to one of my all-time horror heroes and master of disguises, Mr. Lon Chaney, Sr. When I saw his part in the film as the, "Phantom of the Opera," I was a young boy and his look gave me the creeps and has always stayed in my mind as a horrifying face to have to look at...but it is great for Halloween!!

Mark: love the complexity of the piece and the little bit of color you applied to this amazing pen and ink piece. Congratulations. Best regards, Will

Artist Reply: Will: Thanks for the fantastic feedback! I new some people would enjoy this piece, since it is near Halloween. I really tried to tell the Phantom's story in this one, so it took a lot of detail and the bit of color reminds me that everything in life is not all black and white,...life has color to it and I didn't want anyone to think I have forgotten this!!
